in the darkness i hear him whisper
words that were of taunting and hate.
I close my eyes, this is not real
I know he is not here, but i cannot escape.

Backing up against the wall, i begin to cry
He is approaching quickly, i have nowhere to go
Silently screaming, this is only a dream…
Tears begin to fall from my eyes
he wipes them away…not at all gently.
Fear is the only thing i am feeling.
But I know I need to wake up soon…
Slowly my eyes begin to open,
I am back in my own bed.
Beside me is the man I love dearly.
The room is empty besides us…
I have survived another night.
